RACHEL MCKIBBENS AND I HIT THE ROAD FOR THE LAST NERVE — A HIGH TEA POETRY BRAWL — THIS FALL!
The savagely talented and irrepressible Rachel McKibbens (www.rachelmckibbens.com) and I will be setting out on tour this Fall to perform. Rachel is a Women of the World Poetry Slam winner, one of the most powerful performance poets I've ever met, and this is her FIRST NATIONAL TOUR -- what???? We will be smashing teacups, (except the ones we love and can't part with.) We will be striking punches to the heart of anyone who thinks feminism is asleep at the wheel. And we will also be doing that usual thing we do, with the shoulder-shaking uplifting gasp-drawing poetry. And the making every room we're in a home, and everyone we meet glow, so that we call all remember what we've been fighting for.
