Write Now Poetry Society is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, dedicated to finding ways to connect audiences and readers with great poets, and championing the kind of heart-breaking soul-easing mind-blowingly good poetry that knows a jugular when it sees one. It was co-founded by Amber Tamblyn and Mindy Nettifee in the spring of 2007 as their appetite for producing great shows and workshops and retreats for poets began to outstrip their personal bank accounts and 7 hours of sleep per night minimum requirements. (Sleep is to happiness what sandwhiches are to lunchboxes.) The organization now represents hundreds of volunteers and poets accross the United States.
